Alien Hominid is arguably one of the most popular flash games on the internet. It's received over 17 million plays on Newgrounds alone. This game features a little yellow alien whos spacecraft has been shot down by the FBI and crash-landed on Earth, and must retrieve it from the FBI.

Alien Hominid was made popular on the Flash game website Newgrounds.com, in August, 2002. The flash version is often referred to as the Alien Hominid "prototype", as shortly after the game came out, a PS2/Gamecube version of the game hit the stores.

The gameplay is very similiar to the classic Metal Slug games; dodge enemy fire, jump, and shoot, in sidescroller-style gameplay. Press "A" to shoot and "S" to jump.
