The N64 gave birth to some of the best games in video games history; The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Starfox 64, Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros, and dozens more. For years, people have been attempting to create a handheld N64 gaming system; a small, updated handheld that lets you play all of your old favorite games.
We’re happy to report that we’ve found someone that has done it right. The YouTube user budnespid1 has created a Portable N64 of his own! The device resembles an oversized gameboy, and plays any N64 game you can throw at it via a top-loading cartridge.
We’re not going to lie; if budnespid1 started selling these, I think we’d have to pick one up. Super Smash Bros is the very first game we would play; if only there was a way to make it two-player!
