The aim is to defeat an opponent—either computer-controlled or a second player—by earning a higher score.

The flash game of Pong involves playing against a computer component, and using the A and Z keys to move your paddle vertically across the screen. Players use the paddles to hit a ball back and forth. The aim is for a player to get the ball past the computer player 3 times to win the match.
