Asteroids is one of the most iconic and revolutionary video game ever made. Created in 1979 by Atari, it was one of the most popular arcade games in the Golden Age of video games. In this Asteroids clone by Neave, you pilot a two-dimensional aircraft in an asteroid field. Destroy any asteroids (and flying saucers!) that cross your path. Shoot and destroy the asteroids and flying saucers, being careful to avoid the asteroid debris and the saucers’ counter-fire. Use the directional keys to navigate and space to fire.
